Samia is situated in the bush within close access to the 3000 ha Palala River Game Reserve which falls within the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve. Its unique bio-diversity features and cultural aspects make this area a special place to visit. Guests can use their own vehicles for bush drives, bush walking and cycling is also popular. The house is a few minutes' walk down to the Palala river.

Samia is a large log cabin with a view of where the Palala and Melk rivers meet, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Samia can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with on-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed, with their own entrances to the viewing deck.

The lounge area opens up onto an expansive deck ideal for bush viewing, meals and relaxation. A boma area at the front of the cabin is a lovely place for evening gatherings and star gazing. This cabin is perfect for a family or group of friends wanting a peaceful getaway in the bush in both summer or winter as it has a cosy fireplace.

All of the bedrooms can be converted from a double room into a twin room. All bathrooms have both a bath and shower.
