Terence Meise Reserve Manager
I grew up in a small Eastern Cape town. Spending most my days on farms is where my love of nature started. As soon as I could hold a fishing rod, I was fishing, spending almost all my weekends on the rivers and dams in the area. After studying Game Ranch Management, I worked on a Breeding Program to breed disease-free Buffalo from diseased Buffalo and Nyalas. |
Jane Leonard Manager, Jembisa Bush Home
I am a local girl - Limpopo province born and bred! I joined Jembisa in 2009, and shortly afterwards married my husband, Steven. I enjoy hosting guests from all over the world and getting to know each guest. Nothing beats being out in the bush. I’ve been blessed by working at an amazing place such as Jembisa, where I am able to enjoy it all! |
David Kekana Head Chef
I started work Jembisa in 2004 as a waiter and soon worked up to the Head Chef position in the kitchen. I am married and have one daughter called Tetelo. Working in the kitchen is my life and I have a passion for the meals I create. I retire one day from the kitchen. |
Edmar Dupper Ranger
My passion is guiding, and sharing my knowledge with guests. I love photography and outdoor activities - in particular sleeping out in the bush with guests, around a campfire - and fishing. I enjoy catching snakes and doing snake presentations. I have guided in Pilanesberg National Park and on a private game reserve near Hoedspruit, and am completing my Trails Guiding qualification. |
